Fabrication Work

What Westforge fabricates

Practical fabrication, sized to the requirement rather than to a catalogue.

Structural & general steel

Cut, drilled, welded and assembled steel for practical structural and general fabrication requirements.

Frames, brackets & assemblies

Made-to-measure frames, brackets, supports and assemblies where an off-the-shelf item does not fit.

Gates & fabricated products

Fabricated gates, panels and property items, prepared and coated in-house before installation by others.

Custom one-off work

One-off items built from a drawing, a sketch, a sample or a description of the problem.

Repairs & modifications

Repairs to damaged or worn metalwork, and modification of existing items so they suit a changed requirement.

Repeat & batch components

Repeat runs of the same component with consistent dimensions and finish for manufacturing and trade customers.

How It Works

From enquiry to finished item

Fabrication runs to a simple, predictable sequence so you know what happens next.

  1. 01

    Requirement

Tell us the item, quantity, size, material, finish and timing. A drawing, photo or sketch helps.

  2. 02

    Quote

We confirm what is practical, propose an approach and quote the work, including preparation and coating if needed.

  3. 03

    Fabrication

The item is cut, formed, welded and assembled in the workshop and checked against the agreed dimensions.

  4. 04

    Finish & handover

Where required, the item is blasted, prepared and coated in-house, then made ready for collection or delivery.

Common Questions

Fabrication questions, answered

Is Westforge Works taking fabrication work now?

Yes. Westforge Works is operating and accepting fabrication enquiries, from single custom items through to batches of repeat components.

What size jobs do you take?

Small and medium fabrication work is the core of the business — one-off custom items, brackets, frames, assemblies, gates, and repeat runs. Larger work is assessed on the requirement and the workshop schedule.

Can you fabricate and finish in one place?

Yes. Because blasting, surface preparation and powder coating sit in the same business, fabricated items can be prepared and coated without being sent to a third party.

Do you take overflow work from other fabricators?

Yes. Support and overflow work for other trades, fabricators and engineering businesses is genuinely welcome, including preparation and coating of items fabricated elsewhere.

Send the details and Westforge Works will come back with a practical approach and a quote. For work that also needs blasting, preparation or coating, say so — it is handled in the same workshop.
